Overview
Recognized in 1962 as National Park, Cuc Phuong is now the biggest and the most diverse Park in Vietnam with a variety of rare fauna and flora in limestone mountain forest. The Endangered Primates Rescued Centre (ERPC) in the park is an interesting place to see many kinds of rare primates such as Langur, Gibbon and Loris all over Vietnam.
Itinerary
DAY 1: HA NOI – HOA LU - TAM COC (L,D) | |
7:30 – 8:30 | Tourguide will pick you up at your hotel then depart for ancient citadel of Hoa Lu (90km south of Hanoi). |
11:00 | Visit temples dedicated to King Dinh Tien Hoang (923-979) and Le Dai Hanh (941-1005) |
12:00 | Continue bus drive to Tam Coc for lunch. |
13:30 | Board on sampans to visit Tam Coc (Three caves). The boat trip through enormous limestone karsts jutting out from the green rice fields leave a good memory. |
15:30 | Finishing 2 hours on sampan, check in hotel. Relax in hotel after long day of activity. |
17:00 | Dinner at your hotel and stay overnight in Ninh Binh. |
DAY 2: TAM COC – CUC PHUONG NATIONAL PARK - HA NOI (B,L) | |
07:00 | Enjoy morning tea/ coffee then have breakfast at your hotel restaurant. |
07:40 | Depart for Cuc Phuong National Park, photographing spectacular views through countryside road. |
09:20 | Visit Endangered Primate Rescue Center which homes to species like Golden-headed Langur, Tonkin Snub-nose Langur and Black Crested Gibbon… |
10:30 | Experience thrilling moments when exploring Cave of Pre-Historic Man dated back 7000 years old. |
11:30 | Enjoy a local style Vietnamese lunch at the National Park Headquarters. |
12:30 | Spend hours trekking through the jungle, you witness a giant tree of thousands years old named Cho Chi |
14:30 | Get a bus transfer back to Tam Coc and join the other group back to Hanoi. |
18:00 | Arrive in Ha Noi. Tour ends. |
